December is the busiest time of the year for all postal networks, and as Redbubble ships from printers all around the globe, shipping times can vary.  Once your order has been manufactured, in most cases it will end up in the hands of your local mail service, which can be at the mercy of severe weather, postal strikes, customs, dogs, and sometimes alien abduction. While we will do our best to make and send your item as soon as possible, we don’t have control over your local postal system. While we can never guarantee that you will receive orders by a certain date, you should aim to place your Christmas orders with Redbubble before these dates to have the best chance of arriving before Christmas:

*Edit to add an explanation of what Black Friday and Cyber Monday are all about – being Australian I really had no idea, Black Friday is normally a Friday that falls on the 13th day of the month!  Anyway…as explained very well by Amy-Elyse, Black Friday and Cyber monday relate to Thanksgiving and Christmas shopping in the USA.

“In the U.S. people camp out starting the day before thanksgiving to buy cheap stuff friday morning. Friday after Thankgiving to the following monday is the big shopping day for the holidays. Friday is known as Black Friday because it is the day that pulls businesses solidly “Into the Black” (as in bookeeping) A lot of businesses rely on this weekend to make or break their year end quarter, so they offer ridiculous mark downs on limited quantities of select “Hot ticket Items” in the hopes that you will join the crush to try to get there in time for them, and either fail and buy other not so discounted stuff or succeed and also buy other non discounted stuff.  Cyber Monday refers to the following monday when people who skipped it friday clog the internet buying stuff online to make sure it arrives in time for gift giving”.

So there you go…Black Friday and Cyber Monday – you learn something new everyday!
